Hello – I’m Courtney – a freelance designer and small business owner, living and working in Cardiff with my husband, Steffan, and my cat, Rolo.
Design is far more than my job, it is my passion; a passion that helps me bring my clients ideas to life, leaving them with designs that they love. After graduating from Cardiff University in 2017 with a BA (Hons) Degree in Textiles, I set up a small online retailer that specialises in bespoke artwork and stationery producing handmade, eco-friendly artwork and stationery, that has continued to grow, year on year.
I am currently undertaking a Digital Media Communications Internship that is equipping me with a great array of new skills and experiences, and in September 2020, hope to embark upon a MA Degree in Graphic Communication.
From personalised writing paper to luxurious wedding invites; from imaginative gift wrap to special event announcement cards, custom stationery brings your personal style to life. I offer a bespoke service that allows you to choose all elements of your design and see it unfold before your eyes, thereby creating designs that are completely unique, reflecting who you are and what you are celebrating.
I often get asked, “is digital art real art?” And my answer is always the same, “absolutely!” Digital art is artistic work that uses digital technology as part of the creative process to create original artwork in digital form – from fine art prints to decoration to storytelling illustration. So, if you are looking for graphic patterns for textiles, unique greeting card designs or a one-off album cover art - look no further.
A brand is a relationship between a business or organisation and its audience, and a brand identity is how the organisation communicates its personality, tone and essence, as well as its emotions and experiences – all of which is achieved through coherent and consistent themes that tie every part of the business together.
Whether you are looking just to freshen up your logo or packaging, or if you are looking for a full rebrand do-over, I can help you.
Environmental graphic design visually connects people to places to improve their overall experience by making spaces more memorable, interesting, informative or easier to navigate – from signage to wall murals; from posters and banners to postcards and flyers – I can help you design an environment that people will want to spend time in, and revisit, time and time again.
